SecureIT 2011 Beta Update #3

The SecureIT Product Team is pleased to announce the release of our 3rd beta update!  If you currently have the beta installed, it will automatically receive and apply this update.

This update brings with it the following features and fixes:

  • During installation, the Windows firewall is now disabled to prevent conflicts.
  • When an update is downloaded, a data counter will appear showing the progress.
  • Virus alerts will now appear on the primary monitor if more than one monitor is connected to the computer.
  • Anti-phishing protection has been added.
  • Manual and scheduled scan output performance has been improved.
  • Performance issues that were seen during last week’s beta update have been resolved.
  • Critical system processes now cannot be killed from the Active Connections page in the firewall settings.
  • Various minor bugs, text and visual components have been fixed.
